Some fantastic stress management techniques from our first survey participants


Here's some great examples of strategies that our survey participants have used to manage their stress in the past fortnight: 


  • "Trying to be mindful and in the moment when I'm with my kids or with my staff"
  • "Breathing to calm and ensuring I get to Pilates even though things are hectic - it really helps!"
  • "Setting boundaries and limiting contact when issues are overwhelming me. This involves setting days in the week where I am available and identifying when I'm busy so that I don't become overwhelmed. "
  • "We have started a thing we call 'mini magical mystery tour'. Once per fortnight, one of our family chooses a little activity (beach, walk, morning tea, cricket, whatever) that we go and do together (just the 4 of us) for a couple of hours. We all look forward to these very much."
  • "My family do 'screen off' nights every week, where my husband, kids and I do any activity as long as it's screen free - we do puzzles, read, talk, play games etc. Love these nights"
